9/2~8/18 Chiang Mai trip!

Hello all, once again this is your usual e-HCIK staff.

We visited Chiang Mai, Thailand as a part of JICA grassroot technological cooperation project which began in June of this year.

This time, we actually visited 6 state run general hospitals to install our petit CTG system.

We had a workshop for medical personnel of those hospitals to get to know the project and what we are aiming to achieve, as well as how to use the petit CTG system.

All the participants looked very serious and focused, making me feel that's the amount of passion and seriousness you need to be involved in Obstetrics and Gynecology section of the hospital (well, to be involved in any medical field, you got to be passionate and serious I guess). 

They had positive reactions from the workshop, and they were excited to have our system handed over. Some of them said that they can easily imagine asking for more of the same devices because it is so useful!

We certainly hope that our instruments implemented will be beneficial for expectant mothers and doctors of the area. We will visit Chiang Mai again in December!
